About the event

The Waterways, Love Stories of Place ecotourism/community arts project invites audiences to witness the Denmark community sharing with you tales of a life spent in the Great Southern, with her special water places. Travel along the Mokare trail adjacent to the Kwoorabup River to the Kwoorbup River Mouth plaque, or along the WOW trail starting at Pooryungup/Ocean Beach headland to the Lights Beach plaque, connecting you to the Waterways website and digital artwork that tells stories of the connection between people and place, family and home.

Made by SHOON Healthy Arts and the Waterways Team, through Denmark Arts Council

Proudly supported by the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries, Lotterwest, Regional Arts WA, Regional Arts Australia and the Australian Museums and Galleries Association
